Anomenat per Dance Magazine com un dels seus “25 To Watch” el 2020, Hickey va comen\u00e7ar a estudiar amb el llegendari educador de taps i fundador del North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble, Gene Medler, als set anys. Com a core\u00f2graf, ha presentat treballs en prestigiosos llocs com Birdland Jazz Club, Chelsea Factory, Little Island, 92NY i Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. Com a membre de la companyia guanyadora de premis Michelle Dorrance, Dorrance Dance, Hickey ha actuat al Kennedy Center, al Guggenheim Museum, al Kuopio Dance Festival (Finl\u00e0ndia), al New York City Center i al Ford de Hollywood.
