Margaux Cañal

Margaux started dancing at an early age, and at the age of 11 started with tap dance. At the age of 15 she joined the Youth Tap Company of Luthier and in 2017-2018 she did the Professional Tap Program in Luthier. From this moment, she started teaching tap at different schools and she loved it. Besides, she is training in other dance disciplines. In 2019, she joined Guillem’s company Barcelona Rhythm Tap with the kid’s show TAP TAP and in 2021 she joined Camut Band Junior Company. In 2022 she started creating a new show with Saretta Machiavelli and la Maria Florensa (Keonda Project). She has also trained in music. She studied piano and music theory since childhood and in 2019 started the degree of music pedagogy in ESMUC. Since then, she discovered her vocation for teaching and started teaching music in schools of Barcelona. Throughout these years dedicating to teach músic and tap dance, she has seen all the things that movement and music contribute each other and the fact of know people from both disciplines inspires her to incorporate musical knowledge into dance classes.
