Tato studied at L’AULA de Música Moderna y Jazz del Conservatori del Liceu and at the Taller de Músics de Barcelona, where he was fortunate enough to be taught by great masters such as Pablo La Porta (Argentina), Enildo Rasúa (Cuba), Mamadou Kane (Senegal) and Ayao Logosse (Togo).
He has integrated bands of different musical styles, including the Alma Afrobeat Ensemble, the Guinean singers Nakany Kanté and Sia Tolno.
He has also integrated the tap dance and music company Tapeplas, the Latin jazz quartet of the dancer Laia Molins, the company of the dancer Sharon Lavi and is currently a member of the dance and music company Camut Band.
He has toured with various artists in Europe, the USA, Israel and South America.
He does percussion team building work for various companies and conducts remote recording and drum and percussion lessons from his private studio.
He also teaches musicality to tap dancers in the Luthier Dance School’s professional dance training, using his own method developed specifically for tap dancers.
