Maria Busquets

Maria Busquets is a tap dancer from Barcelona who began her artistic journey at a young age, training in ballet and tap. She later specialized in tap dance at Luthier Dance School and graduated in musical theatre and acting from Memory School in Barcelona.

In 2015, she moved to New York to further her dance training, where she also performed with Savion Glover in his show Savion Glover Dance Holiday Spectacular in Newport News, Virginia.

Maria has since developed her career by performing and teaching workshops across Europe. She is now based in Geneva, where she regularly teaches tap dance and performs with Carpe Rhythmum and Martin’s Tap Dance Company.

Since 2024, she has been part of the Sebastian Weber Dance Company and is involved in productions such as Folk Fiction, 100 Passions, and Glitz.
