Davide Accossato

Davide Accossato, born in Turin, Italy, is a tap dance performer, teacher, and choreographer. He trained at Steps On Broadway and Broadway Dance Center in New York, as well as at Escuela de Dansa LUTHIER in Barcelona.

He has performed in productions such as “Gloria Pax in Terra” by Mario Restagno and Verdi’s “Ballo in maschera”, and with the Paolo Ravera Dance Session Group. In 2006, he appeared in the opening ceremonies of both the Turin Paralympics and the Fencing World Championships. He also performed “Singin’ in the Rain” on RAI 3’s “Gran Concerto” hosted by Raffaella Carrà.

Alongside performing, he has taught tap dance at M.A.S. Music Art & Show in Milan, Carma Academy and BIT Academy in Turin, and has choreographed for the BIT Company and Neverland Company. He is the founder of the Turin Tap Festival, the first international tap festival in Italy.

In 2017, he received the Best Dancer award at the FINI Dance Festival High Jonio Dance Award and was a guest teacher at Escuela Luthier in Barcelona. From 2017 to 2019, he worked with Ajkun Ballet Theatre in New York, later becoming a guest teacher at Steps On Broadway (from 2018) and Broadway Dance Center (from 2024), and working with Ajkun Media Art from 2020.

Since 2024, he has also organized the Bisceglie Tap Festival, followed by the Tuscany Tap Festival in 2025, further strengthening his role in promoting tap dance internationally.
