Dominique Cresswell

Dominique is graduated in Luthier’s Professional Training Program for tap dancers.

Dominique is an accomplished International Tap dancer, Teacher, Choreographer, and 2-time World Tap Champion. She began her dance journey at the Bird College Junior school at the age of 15, eventually earning her ISTD DDE teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap, and Modern at the Deborah Capon college in 2011. Dominique’s passion for teaching and choreography blossomed during her time at various dance schools across London, where she created several successful pieces for competitions and shows. In 2019, Dominique honed her skills on the prestigious professional Tap Programme at the Luthier School in Barcelona. Over two years, she trained intensively with renowned Tap artists such as Derick Grant and Guillem Alonso. Since then, she has graced various Theatre/TV shows and events, including performing professionally with the body percussion company “Wood Beats” and tap dance companies “Barcelona Rhythm Tap” “SABOUR life.” & “La huella Musical” She also co-created the Duet show “David and Dominique” and performs across Barcelona and Europe. Dominique shares her expertise as the Tap Lecturer at the Institute of Arts Barcelona and has taught at esteemed festivals and studios worldwide, including the Stockholm Tap Festival, Luthier Dança Barcelona, Tiptap Warsaw, Tap Residency Madrid, Morea Performing Arts, and the Tap Dance Festival UK.Recently she has taken on the organisation of the Barcelona Tap Dance Experience , providing tap dancers with opportunities to teach, create , perform and Jam.
