Yaron Engler
Yaron Engler is a drummer, vocalist, facilitator, and composer who creates music and spaces for human connection. From pure silence to unleashed loudness, his work is a pathway for freedom, inviting audiences to express themselves fully within the adventure of life. As a solo artist, Yaron’s work, including his album Release, the EP Towards Good, and his upcoming single The Revolution of the AI, brings singing and composition to the forefront alongside his mastery of the drums. A longtime collaborator with Hofesh Shechter, Yaron has been a driving force in iconic productions such as Political Mother, In Your Rooms, Survivor, Uprising, and Grand Finale. His extensive international career has seen him performing on the world’s most prestigious stages across Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Americas. He is currently touring with Hofesh’s recent production Theatre Of Dreams, the work bringing him back to Barcelona, having just finished a tour in China as the Musical Director and drummer for Rambert’s Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Tommy Shelby. Other work includes the creation and touring of Hofesh’s Red Carpet for the Paris Opera Ballet, Akram Khan’s Until The Lions, and commissions to compose the music for Shakespeare’s Henry V at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. Between 2003 and 2008, Yaron lived in Barcelona and collaborated with Sharon Lavi in various Tapeplas productions, where he also delivered rhythm focused training designed to help tap dancers master improvisation and musicality. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Berklee College of Music and a TEDx speaker, Yaron applies his CROP® Cycle framework to bridge the gap between technical mastery and authentic self expression. Through his work with Drum Role, he helps boys and young men unleash their potential through rhythm, while his broader work builds a community for all those curious about navigating life in their own authentic way.
